Janice Dickinson Defends Heidi Montag's Plastic Surgeon

Janice Dickinson certainly isn't one to mince her words and she's holding nothing back when it comes to the current Heidi Montag plastic surgery controversy.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com the surgically altered but still stunning, self-proclaimed 'world's first supermodel' tells RadarOnline.com exactly what she thinks of Montag's new look and also what she thinks of Montag's surgeon - who she just happens to share with the Hills star - top Beverly Hills plastic surgery veteran Dr. Frank Ryan.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported 23-year-old Montag underwent a mind boggling ten plastic surgery procedures in one single day back in November, documenting her ordeal in the pages of People magazine, garnering a storm of criticism and creating a whirlwind of controversy.
Montag's procedures included, a mini brow lift, Botox in her brow and frown line area, a nose job revision, fat injections in her cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips, a chin reduction, neck liposuction, had her ears pinned back, a breast augmentation revision, liposuction on her waist, hips, inner and outer thighs, and a buttock augmentation.

But 54-year-old Dickinson really doesn't see what all the fuss is about and claims it is people's ignorance of plastic surgery that is fuelling their criticism.
"So what? What's the big deal?" Dickinson says in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com. "People are ignorant when then talk about this, they don't understand that things like Botox, ear pinning and fat injections are not really plastic surgery procedures, but Dr. Ryan had to list them in the interest of disclosure
When questioned as to whether the procedures that Montag did have were really necessary on a 23-year-old, Dickinson fires back, "Heidi was a plain dowdy girl before the surgeries. She's a rural mountain girl that wasn't blessed with great genes.

"The reason I became a Supermodel was because of my genetics, I was lucky, I was born that way. To be a great beauty you need symmetry, and that was something that she, and Doctor Ryan, obviously thought she was lacking.
"Heidi is trying to muscle herself into branding herself, she's earning, like, 1.2 million a year on the Hills, she's looking to launch a range of shampoos and fragrances, she's branching out, and she wants to look her best.
"Heidi has bought into the microcosm that plastic is best. And she's going out of her way to improve all those things she thinks need improvement."
And when it comes to accusations of impropriety on behalf of Dr. Ryan, Dickinson really let's loose!
Frank is an amazing surgeon. For anyone to accuse him of any wrongdoing just totally shows their ignorance.
"He is an amazing man and people don't know the half of what he does. He gives millions each year in pro-bono working on ghetto kids and is one of the most humble and conservative surgeons in Hollywood today.

"For him to carry out work on Heidi he obviously saw the need for it. Look, she had her jaw done so it's possible that after that something in her face altered and she needed something else done to maintain the symmetry
And when it comes to how Heidi looks post surgery? Surprisingly Janice isn't a fan! "I think the surgery aged her actually," Janice says. "She looked younger without it, and she looked more attractive.
"But it's her choice. She can afford to look however she wants, and have whatever she wants done to her face and body. It's her choice. She could even get an Avatar tail grafted onto her if she chose to, it's nobody's business but hers.
Don't give her ideas now Janice!
Finishing off, Janice has nothing but praise for her plastic surgeon and close friend. "Frank Ryan is an excellent recourse in war time to keep women looking beautiful," she says.
